Lindsey and Ryan are both officers in the United State Army whose work friendship blossomed into a romance. It wasn’t until after they were a couple that they realized that they’d actually first met a few years earlier at the Army Ten Miler in Washington, D.C.: Ryan was running the race and stopped by the Virginia Tech tent to inquire about a friend, and Lindsey was the race volunteer who helped him. Ryan and Lindsey are currently stationed separately, but they both were able to get time off over the July 4 holiday to reunite at Lindsey’s parents’ home in Northern Virginia for her family’s annual Independence Day celebration. We had fun incorporating the American Flag into their engagement portraits; it was fitting both for the holiday and for these patriotic officers of the United States Army! Ryan and Lindsey are a fun, playful couple. There’s hardly a moment where they aren’t joking around together and being silly! They also both have strong characters and fantastic leadership traits. They’re a very solid couple and I’m excited to see where their future together leads! Congratulations, Lindsey and Ryan! I’m so excited for your wedding!
